Linnik's type of the Waring-Goldbach problem is one of the major topics in modern analytic number theory. It considered whether every sufficiently large integer can be written as the sum of some prime powers and powers of 2. The circle method and sieve method serve as the primary tools in the study of this problem.

In this report, we will introduce the research on the Linnik's type of the Waring-Goldbach problem involving eight cubes primes. In comparison with previous work, we have refined the application of the circle method. By improving the estimations of the singular integral and the singular series in the main term, and refining the mean value estimate of the integral for the remainder term, we have improved the results of the previous work and obtained the best result so far in this direction.

朱立，上海立信会计金融学院统计与数学学院讲师，研究方向为解析数论。已在《International Journal of Number Theory》,《The Ramanujan Journal》等sci期刊发表论文10余篇，并参与完成一项国家自然科学基金面上项目。
